嘉有為博士,研究方向主要集中于智能微電網能量管理、新能源并入的復雜大電網運行安全評估,以及人工智能在電力系統中的應用。曾參與香港主題性研究計劃項目(Theme-based Research Scheme),并構建香港首個智能微電網運行平臺,在計及高度不確定性的微電網能量管理及智能化控制方向取得突破性研究成果。近年來,嘉有為博士在國際高水平期刊(如IEEE Trans on Power Systems; Smart Grid; Industrial Informatics等)和國際主流會議(如IEEE PES GM, ISGT等)發表論文40余篇。擔任IEEE Trans. on Power Systems; Smart Grid等20余個國際高水平期刊審稿人。

同時,本課題組與香港理工大學許昭教授,香港大學David Hill教授和S.C Tan教授,香港科技大學丘立教授,英國利茲大學Ronghui Liu教授, Petros Aristidou教授合作招收聯合培養博士生。
