Personal Profile:
Dr. Ye joined SUSTech in 2019. He obtained his PhD degree in Information Systems from the City University of Hong Kong in 2019. He managed development teams for three projects in his master program. He established three startup projects during his PhD studying period. Two of them were sold to a company in Shenzhen for over 200,000 RMB. Both of them are still in the market right now.

Research：
His research interests are Big Data Analytics, Text-mining (Topic Modeling, Semantic Analysis, Sentiment Analysis, Document Summarization), Blockchain, Business Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, System Dynamics Modeling, Media Coverage, Public Opinion, Corporate Governance, Financial Risk Management.
Since 2015, he stepped in blockchain field with great interests. He conducted blockchain related research by using big data analytics, such as topic modeling and sentiment analysis, to detect the trend of blockchain in both academia and industry. His tight relationships with the companies trying to apply blockchain technology in their business help knowing the current business problems and providing much valuable information for research.
