Self-introduction
An immunologist turned neurobiologist, Dr. Xiao was trained in immunology first at Beijing Medical University and then at the University of Toronto, Canada. He joined the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, Baltimore, to study neuroscience, first as postdoctoral fellow and then as a research faculty. Dr. Xiao is among the 20 most cited Chinese neuroscientists (2014-2018) in the mainland China.

◆ Molecular Regulation of Oligodendrocyte and Myelin development;
◆ Microglia Function in Neuro-Degeneration/Regeneration;
◆ Neuro-Metabolism, Oxidative Stress, and Neuro-Degeneration.
