Sun Shun, from Anqing, Anhui Province, is an Assistant Professor of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, SUSTech. From 2001 to 2016, He obtained his B.A, M.A, and Ph.D degrees in the Department of Chinese Language and Literature, Peking University. Meanwhile, he obtained another M.A degree in the School of Humanities and Social Science, the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (2008-2011). His Ph.D thesis was awarded as Excellent Graduation Thesis of PKU in 2016. Before joining SUSTech, he worked as a lecturer in the School of Liberal Arts, Hebei Normal University. His research interests include phonology, Chinese dialects, and experimental phonetics. He used to teach Introduction to Linguistics,Theories on Linguistics in the West, Phonetics, Experimental Phonetics, Chinese Information Processing among other courses.
